The golfing society is a society founded within Glenville Pitch and Putt Club by the members of Glenville back in 1985. All members of the club are welcome to join this prestigious society, which offers the opportunity to take part in various golf outings throughout the year to the excellent golf courses Ireland has to offer. Amongst some of the previous destinations have been exclusive golf courses such as Kilcock, Edenderry, Port Airlington, Castleknock and Athy. As well as playing on major Irish golf courses, the Golfing Society is also host to both the Captain's Prize and the James Byrne Memorial prize in honour of one of the founding members of the Golfing Society. All in all, the Golfing Society adds a taste of Golf to the members of the club so they can enjoy all aspects of the sport as a result of their membership to Glenville Pitch and Putt Club.
There is also a par 3 golf course up the road from our pitch and putt course which our full members can also avail of free of charge. This facility is also open to Non Members and Societies as well at €5.00 per 18 hole round.
